Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for helping develop and execute on growth programs for Business Banking and Small Business, working in close collaboration with line of business and functional leaders.  We are seeking a strategic and analytical individual with proven commercial banking, business strategy, operations and sales execution experience.
 
What you’ll do as a Director, Small and Middle Market Business Product Management:
- Be responsible for strategic initiatives, digital and operational processes, and sales production results
- Drive multi-year growth strategies for Business Banking and Small Business, including CRA and Diverse Segments
- Partner with frontline, marketing, risk and other functional teams to identify, scope and prioritize new growth opportunities
- Work closely with key partners to identify capabilities required to capture these growth opportunities, including product features, digital, pricing, servicing, data & insights
- Identify and prioritize external strategic partnership opportunities
- Lead an agile program to iteratively develop and deploy new capabilities
- Help optimize capabilities through robust testing, tracking and refinement
- As appropriate, serve as product manager for new capabilities
- Work closely with frontline teams and lead/support in-market execution of sales and marketing programs
- Define metrics and KPIs, and establish data/reporting capabilities to track customer feedback, adoption, sales execution, pipeline, and financial results
- Help build a scalable/repeatable approach and operating model that can be deployed against a portfolio of opportunities and more broadly within the organization
- Ensure operational processes are durable and meet all regulatory requirements
- Provide proactive communication on progress and results to executive leadership and cross-functional partners

Qualifications

- The ability to work with a variety of different client-facing professionals and be flexible in approach/style
- Able to navigate a complex organization to gain buy-in for new initiatives and lead cross-functional projects
- Solid understanding and experience using Agile tools and methodologies
- Excellent oral, written communication, consulting, multi-tasking, interpersonal, facilitation, and organizational skills
- At least 5+ years of work experience
- A bachelor’s degree or higher
- Commercial Banking, Small Business Banking and/or Management Consulting experience
- Frontline experience

- Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
- Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
- Must be able to travel as position requires.
