Duties and Responsibilities

The Eagle Alternative Investment team (First Republic Investment Management) is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Senior Associate, Alternative Investments, Fund Operations, Data Processing Analyst & Custodian Management with a strong working knowledge of GAAP accounting. The role will focus on activities surrounding the core operations of our alternative investment business and fund processing.
What you’ll do as an Senior Associate, Alternative Investments, Fund Operations Data Reporting and Custodian Management:
- Oversee and manage third-party fund administrators and service providers to ensure receipt of timely and accurate valuation and fund activity reporting.
- Analyze and classify capital transaction of the Funds.
- Establish reconciliation procedures, tools and reporting to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
- Perform regular and ongoing reviews and reconciliations of data.
- Oversee offshore personnel to ensure timely and accurate data processing.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper funding for investment trade activity
- Enter and oversee investment trade orders in custodian and confirm accurate and timely processing by custodian
- Ensure compliance with Bank and platform policies and procedure.
- Work with counterparties to remediate any data, reporting and processing issues
- Assist in the ongoing assessment, review and improvement of the platform’s policies and procedures.


You could be a great fit if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related major from an accredited institution
- Two or three years of experience in investment platform with private fund experience highly desirable
- Experience in reviewing and analyzing data reports and manuals
- Computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Working experience with Advent APX and custodial systems (Pershing) highly desired.
- A strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects while working independently in a demanding, unstructured environment
- The ability to think critically and anticipate potential issues
- Self-motivation and a willingness to take initiative
- A commitment to be a team player and provide extraordinary service
